SHEDDING THE STIGMA & Bums for the Bush Charity Fundraising Campaigns SYDNEY UNIVERSITY VETERINARY STUDENT NUDE CALENDAR
Each year about 40 veterinary science and animal science students take part in each years’ calendar, with the photo shoot occurring at the University’s farms in the Camden area of NSW. They bare all to creatures great and small, on tractors, in sheds, and on top of hay bails.
All animals seen in the photos were handled in the correct ways, as the vet students and animal science students have been trained to do and with respect and love. Professional animal handlers were on hand all day to assist as well as the University farm site managers. Lambs, piglets and sheep were handled for less than five minutes. Any animal that wasn’t comfortable with being handled was not used in any image.
I’ve photographed this campaign twice in the last few years on my own time to assist the students’ causes that I also firmly believe in.
